Straight stitch down one side, across the bottom, and up the other side using 3-ply floss, tying knots at the beginning and end of the stitching on the inside of the pillowcase. Stitches should be about ¼" in from the edge, ¼" long, and ¼" apart (see drawing at left). Using 2-ply floss, attach 3 snaps to the inside front of the pillowcase about / " from the top edge. The side snaps should be 2" in from the edge, and the third snap should be centered between them (see drawing at left). Sew the corresponding snap pieces onto the other inside edge of the pillowcase.
